# StoryPrime
> StoryPrime is an interactive story engine where you create and play through living, dynamic adventures by writing freeform actions that a narrative engine responds to in real time.

StoryPrime is built around reusable templates called "primers" that set a story's genre, tone, and chaos level. Players write what they want to do in plain language and the story engine advances the narrative with persistent characters, evolving world state, and illustrated scenes. New players can create their first story as a guest, and stories cost credits on a pay-as-you-go basis (one credit per story turn).
